Heritage Advice for The Block

Heritage-TheBlockAllStars-01

NBRS+PARTNERS Heritage Team were recently involved in Channel 9’s hit TV show “The Block All Stars” as Heritage Advisers.

Our involvement with the development included advice on the local heritage significance of the four circa 1913, semi-detached houses in Bondi that were renovated on the show.

The television series recorded the  contestant couples in a renovation competition which included the demolition of part of the existing dwellings, building of a contemporary rear addition, internal interior design fitout, restoration works to dilapidated front facades, roofs and walls and external landscaping works to front and rear courtyards. The residences included a variety of heritage features, which added extra challenge and interest for the contestants.
